Mickey

After many months of searching, I finally found a puppy for Milo. His name is Mickey, and he's a CKC registered sable Sheltie. He's got pretty good bloodlines, a lot of champions in his background, and was affordable. He's got a pretty funny personality, though hes more independant and isn't really worried about human aproval... he's more the sheltie personality. Anyways, here are a few pictures!

The Kids

Here are a few pictures of the kids. I was trying to make them lunch on this particular day, and they were standing at the gate screaming at me. You would think I locked them in jail or something. I can't believe how big they both are getting. I can remember waiting for Joelle to go into labour. I was pissed when she had him when I was in Nova Scotia!!!! But he was born on my freinds wedding day, HOW COOL IS THAT!

So the morning sickness has hit!! In full force. YUCK! I am so very sick, that there has been days that I have had to have my sister watch Ashlyn so I can deal with it. It has forced me to do something I never thought I would ever do...give up taking care of Jonathan. I feel so bad, I hate to see him in daycare with someone other than family. But I don't think its fair to him. Sometimes I can't even look after Ashlyn, let alone him. And I think he deserves better than me right now. It breaks my heart, but its what I think is best for him. :(

On another note, the baby is growing like crazy. I got another peek at it the other day, and the baby now has arms and legs, and can move. It's pretty cool to see it grow from a little lump to what looks like a little baby!!!! I got a picture.... My official due date is September 26th!

Big Boy Bed

So we had a rather big event here this morning. Jonathan slept in his big boy bed for the very first time today. He didn't even get out of it. I layed him down, and he fell asleep, it was as if he was waiting for this all along. He didn't fight, or cry, or anything!! I had to sneek in and get a picture of him sleeping in his big boy bed for the first time ever!! I only got one though, as I didn't want to wake him up!!! He ended up sleeping for 3 hrs!!!! GREAT NAP! After he woke up, I heard him in there giggling, so i opened the door and he started claping. He thought it was great that he just slept in his big boy bed! Then he promptly asked for his boots. I don't know why, but when he gets up from a nap, he likes to wear his slipper boots. Good Job Jon!

The morning sickness is setting in. :( I thought I may have payed my dues last time, but apparently not. I have been so sick the last 3 days!!!! I am also so super tierd all the time! I have told the mother of my other two daycare kids to find a different sitter over 3 weeks ago!!!! She still hasn't found one, but I am not sure how much longer I can look after them. At least with Jonathan and Ashlyn the play together, and nap together. When they nap, I can nap with them, but not with the other kids here.

Other than that, there is not a whole lot going on here. Danny got the day off yesterday, so we got to spend some good quality family time together, much needed. But, back at the grindstone today! I am hoping that he gets the weekend off as well. Maybe I can sleep in! :)

Happy Birthday Ashlyn

The day came, we celebrated, and now it's the next day. My baby girl is a year old, though it doesn't seem like she should be. I swear just yesterday she was born. Time flies when you are having fun. It's amazing what she has become in a year. She went from essentially, a little bundle that ate, slept, and needed a diaper change to a personality filled, almost walking, talking, 1 year old. She got the most amazing personality, all 23lbs of her. She is the happiest baby I know, even when she's sick and teething (she now has 5 teeth!). She will eat anything you can cut up into a cube and put on her plate, but fruit is by far her favorite. Here are some pictures and video from yesterday. She celebrated with her baby friends at 11am, and the family at 4pm for supper

Cute Kids

I found these videos I took of the babies a couple weeks ago. They are so cute, I thought you all would enjoy seeing them! How could a person not hug and kiss those two???

So there are a few video's of Ashlyn the past little while. I would like to put some of Jonathan up soon, however, he hasn't been here this week. I promise to get some up next week. I miss Jonathan when he is not here. When he's not here, it feels like there is something missing... he does spend 5 days a week with me 9 hours a day, so its only normal that it would feel like that. (For those of you who don't know, Jonathan is Daniel's cousins 18 month old baby that I care for while his mommy and daddy are at work.)

I look out my window, and it's starting to snow! NUTS! I was enjoying the nice warm weather we were having, and so were the children! It was a nice little break from the -40 weather we were getting. I really dislike the winter. It's so cold and depressing all the time! Though Christmas is my fovorite time of the year, and to me, Christmas just isn't Christmas with out the snow and the cold!

The pregnancy is going well so far, morning sickness is virtually non-existant. What a nice change from when I was pregnant with Ashlyn!! I am really excited to start "feeling
pregnant, when you can feel the tummy growing and baby moving! I am taking all Thursdays off now, I will just have Jonathan and Ashlyn. I will take them to playskool and just hang out in the after noon after nap. Thursdays is their day, and the weekend is Ashlyns. I think it's important to spend time with them now before the baby comes, because when it comes, they both will have some adjusting to do.

Well thats all for today, will get back to yous all though!!! Maybe I can even convince Danny to write an entry or two :)
