Christmas

Christmas will be summed up in one word for my kidlets this year. SPOILED!!! They are deffinately not lacking in gifts this year. The tree is already stuffed full of presents, and there are more to come. We will have a lot of people here on Christmas morning. I am very excited to see how Ashlyn reacts to the opening of gifts :) I am also excited to see our neice Zoe, who is only 5 weeks older than Rowan! Last time I seen her, she was only 6 weeks old, now she will be 4.5 months! Also, all dannys cousins will be up, As well as Marina. Not very often everyone is together like that!

We had a rather big even here today. My nephew Ayeden James turned the big 1! He is getting to be such a big boy. I can't beleive he is already a year old. I had the pleasure of being in the delivery room when he was born, as well as now babysitting him since the begining of November when his mom went back to work, so I am pretty close with this little guy. I know him inside out, as well as I know my own children. I can't believe he is already a year old. Ayeden's stats are: 22lbs, 6 teeth, and not yet walking. It was just a few days after he was home from the hospital that I requested my pregnancy books back from his mom, as I had just found out I was preggo with Rowan... geesh that seems like it was just yesterday!

Well we got lots of snow here now :) the doggies and kiddies are enjoying romping around in it. Ashlyn loves nothing more than to get all bundled up and play in the snow or go for a sled ride. Rowan would prefer not to get his snow suit on, but he always has a big sleep afterwards, so I think its worth it! He He He. Sometimes I even get a nap in after! A rarety!

I am not enjoying this weather. Makes driving miserable. By the time I pack 3 kids in carseats, 2 diaperbags, 3 kids snowsuits, hats mits and sets of boots, extra blankets, and my own snow gear, there isnt much room for anything else.

1 huges batch of Bananna bread, 3 pans of better than chocolate bar squres, 1 pan of matramony cake, 1 pan of reece squares, 1 batch or maccaroons (that didnt turn out so great), 2 batches of snowballs, 2 batches of melting moments. 4 batches of chocolate chip cookies, and 8 batches of butter tart squares later, I am finally finish our Christmas Holiday baking. I have to thank my mom, who spent 5 full days cleaning up her kitchen behind me, as I baked, as well as my kids who were amazing during the whole process. Of course, the weather had to hit -40 c for 3 of my 5 baking days. My poor kids got drug out in that weather, traveled an hr, spent all day at gramma's, and traveled an hr back to Dawson. They were such troopers. All 3 of them! :)

Well I think that is all for now. I will try and update and let you all know how Christmas was! I will have pictures next time too!
Much love:
Chelsea
